
Yam Chips
Talk of chips! If you love yam this will definitely be your favourite. It's crispy tasty and irresistible!
Equipment
- Frying Pan
- Tray
- Cutter
Ingredients
- 1 medium tuber of yam
- 500 ml vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Peel and cut the yam into four equal parts
- Heat the vegetable oil and carefully grate the yam sheets into the oil
- Fry until slightly golden and crispy, take out of the oil, place on a paper tissue to drain excess oil
- Season with salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder and toss to coat evenly
- Yam chips ready to serve. Serve with any dip of your choice
