
Chicken Caesar Salad
Sliced grilled chicken sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds and served with vegetable salad with dressing on top.
Ingredients
- 1 Large Chicken Breast
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 1 tsp Dried Thyme
- 1 tsp Ground Cumin
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds (toasted)
- 2 thick large slice of white bread cubed
- 60 g Salted Butter melted
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Italian Herbs
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
- 5 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1/2 Cup Granulated Parmesan Cheese
- 2 canned anchovies chopped
- 1 Garlic minced
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp White Vinegar
Instructions
- Pound the chicken breast on a chopping board and set aside
- Pour olive oil into a bowl,add cayenne pepper,thyme,cumin,black pepper,salt,soy sauce,and whisk together.
- Add the pounded chicken,rub in the marinade,cover with cling film and set aside to marinate for 10 minutes.
- Mix melted butter with Italian herbs and garlic powder,Pour the butter mixture on cubed bread and mix to coat evenly.
- Bake at 180c for 15mins take out of the oven and let cool off
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and place the marinated chicken then pan-grill for 3 minutes on both sides
- Tear the romaine lettuce into large pieces and place in a bowl add cherry tomatoes,croutons then shave the parmesan cheese on top then set aside
- Mix mayonnaise,grated parmesan cheese,anchovies,garlic,vinegar and olive oil into a smooth consistency
- Slice the grilled chicken into thin stripes and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds
- Fetch the salad into a serving bowl,place the chicken beside and spread the dressing on top
- Chicken caesar salad ready to serve!
