Shea Butter Cookies

Equipment
- Mixing Bowl
- Rubber spatula
- Rolling Pin
- Star-shaped dough cutter
- Fork
- Baking Tray
Ingredients
- 200 grams Shea butter
- 1 cup soft flour
- ½ cup of sugar
- 1 tbsp Vanilla essence
Instructions
- Preheat the oven at 170°C
- In a mixing bowl add shea butter, sugar, vanilla essence and mix in
- Add flour and mix in till a crumbly texture is formed then gently press it into a dough
- Transfer the dough to a parchment lined surface, use your fingers to press the dough down gently
- Place another baking paper on the dough and carefully use the rolling pin to roll it down to an inch thick
- Place them on a baking try and bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for 10-12 minutes
- Shea butter cookies ready to serve
Notes
Kid-Friendly Adaptation: Serve with ice-cold ocean spray cran-grape juice.
