  • 1 Pound Goat Meat
  • 2 Cups Rice
  • 5 Medium Tomatoes Puréed
  • 1 Medium Onion Puréed
  • 7 Scotch Bonnet Pepper Puréed
  • 200 g Tomato Paste
  • 2 Medium Red Onions Sliced
  • 4 Cloves Of Garlic Minced
  • 1 Medium Ginger Grated
  • 1 Tsp Fresh Thyme
  • 1 Tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 Tsp Ginger Powder
  • 1 Medium Green Bell Pepper sliced
  • 1 Medium White Onion sliced
  • 2 Beef Seasoning Cubes
  • Oil
  • Salt


  • Pour goat meat into a saucepan over medium heat
  • Add Fresh Onion
  • Add Ginger
  • Add Garlic
  • Add Thyme
  • Add Oregano
  • Add Beef Seasoning
  • Add Salt
  • Add water,Stir,Cover and let boil for 40 minutes and set aside.
  • Heat oil in a saucepan
  • Add cooked goat meat,Fry for 5 minutes then take them out of the oil and set aside.
  • Add sliced onion to the oil,Stir and let sweat then add tomato paste
  • Stir and let simmer
  • Add pureed tomatoes, onion, scotch bonnet pepper, stir and let simmer down
  • Add ginger powder, garlic powder, white pepper, beef seasoning, stir and let simmer then add fried goat meat
  • Add stock, stir and let simmer for 5mins
  • Add rice, salt, a bit of water, stir and let cook on medium low heat for 25mins checking on regularly.
  • Add green bell pepper, white onion, stir and cover for a minute
  • Goat Meat Jollof Rice Ready to Serve.
