Bulgurium Wheat Waakye
Waakye prepared with bulgurium wheat which can be served with shito and stew
- Sauce Pan
- Wooden Spatula
- Measuring Cup
- 1½ Cups Red Beans Washed
- 1½ Cups Bulgurium Wheat
- 1½ Litres Water
- 1 Tsp Salt Optional
- Pour washed red beans into a saucepan over medium heat, add 1 litre of water and let it boil for 25 minutes or until partially cooked.
- Add the washed Bulgurium whole wheat, 500ml of water, stir, turn down the wheat and let it cook for another 25 minutes.
- Bulgurium wheat waakye ready to serve.
