
Tatale Sandwich
A local sandwich made with ripe plantain and vegetales

Ingredients
- 3 fingers of ripe plantain
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 tsp cloves
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 50 ml water
- ½ cup rice flour
- 1 tsp Salt
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- ½ small Cabbage shredded
- 1 medium tomato diced
- 1 small Onion diced
- 200 G canned flaked tuna
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
Instructions
- Pour the ripe plantain into a blender, add garlic, coves, ground black pepper, dried oregano, ground ginger, water and blend into a smooth mixture
- Pour into a mixing bowl, add rice flour, salt and stir in
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium , scoop a spoonful of the plantain mixture into the pan and fry until golden for 3 minutes on both sides and set aside
- In a small bowl, mix the cabbage, tomato, onion, flaked tuna, black pepper and mayonnaise
- Place one portion of the tatale on a serving platter, scoop a spoonful of the cabbage mixture on and topped with another portion of tatale
- Tatale sandwich ready to be served
