Chicken wings simmered in soy sauce and kpakposhito coating

  • Chopping Board
  • Glass Mixing Bowl
  • Plastic foil
  • Blender
  • Frying Pan
  • Wooden Spatula


  • 1 Pound of Chicken Wings
  • 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tsp Salt

For the Pepper Sauce;

  • 1 Cup Petite Belle Pepper Kpakposhito
  • 6 Cloves of Garlic
  • 1 Small Ginger Chopped
  • 1 Cup Chives Chopped
  • 1 Medium White Onion Sliced for Garnish
  • ¼ Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Tsp Salt


  • Cut the wings into three parts and place in a bowl.
  • Add soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, stir and set aside to marinate for 30 minutes.
  • Pour kpakposhito into a blender, add garlic, ginger, chives, water and blend into a paste.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a wok over medium heat, add the marinated wings and stir-fry for 7 minutes. Then add the blended kpakposhito mixture.
  • Stir to coat evenly and let simmer for 3 minutes.
  • Kpakposhito wings ready.
  • Garnish with onion slices and serve.
