Local sauce made with tomatoes and Scotch Bell Pepper

  • Frying Pan

  • 4 Medium Tomatoes Diced
  • 1 Large Onion Diced
  • 4 Yellow Scotch Bonnet Pepper Chopped
  • 1 Medium Green Bell Pepper Diced
  • 1 Tsp Salt


  • Heat vegetable oil in pan over medium heat, add diced onion, tomatoes, scotch bonnet pepper, salt, stir continuously for 5 minutes.
  • Add the diced green bell , stir and let simmer for a minute.
  • Wassa wassa sauce ready, best served with fried yam, rice etc
