Ingredients
- ¼ cup groundnut oil
- 100g chicken breast shredded
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp ground African orchid nutmeg
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 25g locust beans, washed
- 2 cups coconut milk
- 4 dried chilli
- 50g Swiss chard, chopped
- 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- Heat groundnut oil in a pan over medium heat, add ground coriander, cayenne pepper, white pepper, turmeric, ground African orchid nutmeg, garlic, salt, stir and let simmer for 3 minutes
- Add the locust beans, coconut milk, dried chilli , stir and let simmer for 5 minutes then add the chopped Swiss chard, stir and let simmer for 3 minutes
- Add the freshly ground black pepper, salt, stir and let simmer for a minute
- Dawa dawa chicken curry ready to serve
