Whole Grain Millet Burkina

A local beverage made with millet, sweetened greek yogurt and garnished with raspberries.

  • Sauce Pan
  • Wooden Spatula
  • Glass Mixing Bowl
  • Small bowl
  • Glass Cup


  • 1 Cup Millet Soaked
  • 1 Cup Sweetened Greek Yogurt
  • 100 g Raspberries
  • 1 Tbsp Honey
  • 1 Orange Slices
  • 1 Tbsp Salt


  • Soak millet for an hour, wash, rinse, pour into a saucepan, add salt and bring to a boil on high heat until soft.
  • Take off heat, drain and let cool off.
  • Mix with honey and scoop into the serving glass.
  • Top with sweetened yogurt, raspberries, orange and garnish with mint leaves.
  • Burkina ready to serve.
