Corned Beef Shito
Equipment

- Mixing Bowl
Ingredients
- 1 large Onion
- 1 cup Ginger
- 1 bulb Garlic
- 1 tsp Black Pepper Corn
- 1 tsp Anise Seeds
- 10 Habanero Peppers
- 8 Green Scotch Bonnet Pepper
- 600 ml Vegetable Oil
- 680 grams Corned Beef
- 1 tbsp Curry Powder
- 1 tsp Dried Rosemary
- 3 Bay Leaves
- 1 tsp Salt
Instructions
- In a blender, add onions, ginger ,garlic, peppers, black pepper corn and anise seeds, vegetable oil and blend until smooth.
- In a pot over medium heat, pour in blended ingredients.
- Gently stir and allow to cook for 20
- Stir occasionally as and when it’s needed.
- Once it browns, gently crash your corned beef and add to your shito and stir.
- Allow to simmer for about 20 minutes stirring frequently to prevent burning
- Add in the curry powder, rosemary, bay leaves and salt .
- Allow to simmer for about 10 more minutes and set aside to cool.
- Serve this with any side dish of choice .
