Place the beef fillet on a chopping board, add ginger, salt, black pepper, garlic , gently rub on evenly, turn the side and do same.
Place on a pre-heated grill and grill on both sides for 3 minutes each
Place the grilled beef in a slow cooker, add the palm nut extract, onion, scotch bonnet pepper, ginger, salt, liquid smoke, stir and cover
Allow to simmer on low heat for 4-6 hours, checking occasionally until beef is well cooked
Take out from the slow cooker and place in dish bowl, using forks, carefully pull the cooked beef apart
Slice the burger bun into two, place the arugula on, add the pulled beef, palmnut sauce from the beef, sliced onion then top with the other half of the bun
Palm beef burger ready to serve.
