Equipment

  • KitchenAid® K400 Blender
  • Two 12-cup nonstick muffin pans
  • Citrus zester
  • Rubber spatula
  • Sharp knife
  • Pastry brush

Ingredients
  

  • 200 grams fresh baby crabs (cleaned)
  • 1 cup soft flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 800 ml vegetable oil

For The Dip

  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 tbsp powdered ginger
  • 1 tbsp chili flakes
  • ½ tbsp salt
  • 300 ml soy sauce

Instructions
 

  • Mix all ingredients for the dip together and set aside
  • Add garlic, ginger powder, smoked paprika, black pepper and salt to the washed crabs and mix in till evenly combined
  • Pick each crab and coat with flour then dip in egg wash then into the flour
  • Repeat the same process for all the crabs then dump them in heated vegetable oil
  • Deep fry for 6 minutes
  • Crispy fried baby crabs ready to serve, serve with a spicy soy dip or any sauce of your choice
