Palm Oil Rice Balls

Short grain rice cooked in palm oil water and moulded into balls

  • Sauce Pan
  • Wooden Spatula


  • 2 Cups Short Grain Rice (Washed)
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 3 Tbsp Palm Oil
  • 500 ml Water


  • Pour water into a saucepan over medium heat. Add salt, palm oil and bring to a boil.
  • Add washed short grained rice, stir, cover and let it cook until soft.
  • Knead into a dough and mould into balls or any shape of your choice.
  • Palm oil rice balls ready to serve.
