Pour the kpakposhito into a blender, add green bell pepper, basil leaves, garlic, ginger, water and blend into a smooth paste
Pour on the chicken wings, add salt , stir to coat evenly and let sit to marinate for 30 minutes
Place the marinated chicken wings in a preheated oven and grill at 180c for 40 minutes
Heat vegetable oil in a sauce pan over medium heat, add the diced onions, stir until translucent then add the tomato paste, stir and let simmer for 5-7 minutes
Add the blended tomatoes mixture, stir and let simmer down for 15- 20 minutes then add rosemary, curry powder, bay leaves, stir and let simmer for 3 minutes
Add the washed rice, salt, chicken stock, liquid smoke, stir and cover to cook for 40 minutes checking regularly
Add the grilled chicken wings, stir in and let simmer for 5-7 minutes
Chicken wings smoky jollof ready to serve
