On a flat board, slice and cut the okra into pieces and set aside.
Pour cow hide (wele) tomato, onion, scotch bonnet pepper, stinky fish, shrimp seasoning and salt into a saucepan.
Add water and bring to a boil for 10 minutes.
Add smoked catfish and let simmer for 5 minutes.
Take out cooked tomato, onions, scotch bonnet pepper, garlic, blend and strain onto the fish and let simmer for 5 minutes. Take the fish out and set aside.
Pour in the chopped okra, add salt, stir and let cook for 7-10 minutes.
Adjust salt and seasoning to your taste.
Add back the catfish, stir and let simmer for 3 minutes.
