CRISPY FRIED BABY CRABS

Ingredients

  • 200g fresh baby crabs, cleaned
  • 1 cup soft flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1tsp smoked paprika
  • 1tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 800ml Vegetable oil
  • For the dip
  • 1 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp powdered ginger
  • 1 tbsp chili flakes
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 300ml soy sauce

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients for the dip together and set aside
  2. Add garlic, ginger powder, smoked paprika, black pepper and salt to the washed crabs and mix in till evenly combined
  3. Pick each crab and coat with flour then dip in egg wash then into the flour
  4. Repeat the same process for all the crabs then dump them in heated vegetable oil
  5. Deep fry for 6 minutes
  6. Crispy fried baby crabs ready to serve, serve with a spicy soy dip or any sauce of your choice
