Bulgur Wheat Jollof

Delicious Jollof prepared with bulgur wheat which can be served with a fruit juice

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • ½ Pound of Beef Fillet Diced
  • 1 Tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 Tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 Small Ginger Grated
  • 3 Cloves of Garlic Minced
  • 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Medium Onion Diced
  • 4 Medium Tomatoes Diced
  • 1 Tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 1 Tbsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 Tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 2 Tsp Curry Powder
  • 2 Cups Bulgur Wheat
  • 500 ml Water

Instructions
 

  • Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Add the beef, oregano, black pepper, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, salt, and stir-fry for 5 minutes.
  • Add the diced onion, stir until translucent, then add the chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, stir and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Add the cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, curry powder, stir and let simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Add the bulgur wheat, braise for 5 minutes, then add salt, water, stir and let cook for 35-40 minutes.Add the bulgur wheat, braise for 5 minutes, then add salt, water, stir and let cook for 35-40 minutes.
  • Bulgur wheat jollof ready to serve.
